Boom•Clap is a contextual discovery and audience awareness application built to find compatible opportunities within attention residual spaces. It helps products, information and creative work meet audiences where attention already exists, rather than manufacturing attention from scratch.
Boom•Clap is built on a simple premise: attention is already everywhere. The interesting question is what belongs there.
Boom•Clap works through three interconnected components: Resonance identifies compatible opportunities; Melody circulates material through participating channels and applications; and Never Bored is Boom•Clap's original production series and an ongoing experiment in discovery.

Under the Hood
Boom•Clap is powered in part by CanCanCan , a research and infrastructure system for contextual discovery, data analysis and the study of attention objects. CanCanCan develops the underlying intelligence; Boom•Clap puts it to work.
The Approach
Boom•Clap does not treat attention as an empty surface waiting to be filled. People are already watching, reading, listening, searching, talking and wandering. These activities leave residual spaces in which something else may be useful, interesting or unexpectedly compatible.
Rather than relying exclusively on demographic targeting or maximizing engagement for its own sake, Boom•Clap looks for contextual compatibility: why something might belong in a particular moment, what relationship it has to the surrounding material, and whether introducing it adds rather than merely interrupts.
Boom•Clap is part of Being & Time .
